Spring Creek Manufacturing’s Jon Boat Stabilizer Float Packages are the safety and comfort you are looking for while on the water. Made from durable, lightweight Polyethylene plastic, these floats are designed to be easy to use, universal, and keep your Jon Boat stable and upright. Extendible up to 20″ in each direction, you’ll get the width that you need, and you’ll be pleased with the ease of use and simple design that all comes together to make the best Jon Boat stabilizer/outrigger on the market. The floats weigh 4lbs each. The Floats measure 37″ long from tip to tip. The Universal Receiver weighs between 9 and 10.5lbs depending on the size. Each Jon Boat Stabilizer Package comes with 1 Universal Receiver, 2 Canoe Stabilizer Floats, 2 Telescoping Arms, 1 set of Clamps, and 1 Set of Artificial Gunwale Brackets. Universal Receiver Sizing: The Universal Receiver is made in different lengths to fit most Jon Boats. Standard sizes are 50″, 55″, and 60″. To size your Jon Boat for a Universal Receiver, first, measure your Jon Boat at it’s widest point. Measuring the widest point gives you the option to place the Universal Receiver anywhere on your Jon Boat that is comfortable. Some Jon Boat gunwales have inside lips for clamping, meaning your clamps will be on the inside of the Jon Boat. However, some Jon Boat gunwales have outside lips, and in this case your clamps will clamp to the outside of your Jon Boat. If this is your circumstance, please go up one Universal Receiver size when ordering. *Many* Jon Boat gunwales are round. Clamps should securely clamp into place, but under circumstances that they do not fasten securely we include bolt-on gunwale adapters for these applications. Simply mount the gunwale adapters to the interior of the boat gunwales at the location you want to mount your stabilizers. This creates an aggressive lip for the clamps to mount to. In cases where your Jon Boat does not have any gunwales our bolt-on gunwale adapters will need to be used. THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT INCLUDE A JON BOAT.
